No Chill Filtering
We believe that whisky is best enjoyed naturally, and that chill filtering
removes essential flavour compounds from the whisky. Therefore, we never chill-filter our products.
If our whisky turns cloudy when you add water to it, this is perfectly natural.
No Artificial Colouring
It is common practice to add caramel to whisky in order to make it appear darker.
Most producers believe that this enhances the visual appeal of their products,
but we believe that it alters the natural character of the whisky.
Therefore, we never add artificial colouring to our products.
Pure Malt Whisky
A Pure or Vatted Malt Whisky is one where the contents come from several different distilleries.
Each component whisky is a Single Malt Whisky.
(This is different than a Blended Whisky
that will have Grain Whisky added.)
We create Pure Malt Whisky in compliance with Canadian laws.
It is is 99% Single Malt Scotch.
The other 1% is a Canadian Single Malt Whisky.
Both malts have been choosen for their exceptional quality and we have
Vatted
the malts together to create a unique product.
